Uganda Police Force hails School of Excellence Ministries







Kampala School of Excellence Ministries has been hailed by the Uganda Police Force for its efforts in reaching out to children and youths through sports. This was contained in the message read out by Police Football Club Coach Angello Lonyensi at the closing of the Children Sports Clinic organised by Kampala School of Excellence Ministries at Police Headquarters in Kibuli recently.

Mr Lonyensi who represented Uganda Police Sports Department said initiatives like these aimed at tapping talents and creating awareness on social challenges should be supported by both government and the private sector. Flanked by another Police Football Club Coach Deo Sserwadda, the officer challenged the youths who participated in the clinic to do something for their communities before asking for support from the authorities.

The clinic involved a number of games and sports including Rounders, soccer, Rugby, Tennis and Netball. A number of board games were also present as over 300 youths each took turns at the different games. The event was organised in partnership with the Uganda Police Community Policing Department and the Ex-players Football Association who provided basic football skills to the youths.

KSEM Administrator Moses Kalanzi thanked the EX-players Association for their continued support to the mission and lauded SAMONA Beauty products for their unwavering support to the event. The company sponsors the outreach programs by offering cosmetics, scholastic materials to be awarded to participants.

The event was sponsored by SAMONA BEAUTY PRODUCTS LTD, a cosmetics company which supports initiatives involving children. The company has pledged to extend support to the Ministry's outreach programs in the communities.
