The School of Excellence on Saturday displayed yet another of its excellent ventures by winning the prestigious YMCA CUP. The School of Excellence F.C team beat Rhinos F.C 1-0 in the finals of the YMCA CUP. The senior men's team playing for the first time after a recess period, brushed off a stiff resistance from a charged Rhino's team to win this years cup.
The total which attracted a total of 30 teams, saw School of Excellence F.C beating a number of teams to qualify for the finals after a display of attacking football.
The Excellence team was also lauded by the organizers of the annual tournament for their discipline and exemplary character signifying a high level of sportsmanship.
On his part KSEM director Daniel Ntale thanked members from the participating teams for the good spirit of sportsmaship exhibited throughout the tournament and urged players to always think about God , if they are to succeed in their talents.
