A new screen for the Children's Home

Excitement is high at the Children's home with the recent donation of a 42 inch flat screen Televsion set. The TV which was supposed to be the children's Christmas present arrived a bit late but without the excitement of having a new and larger set.

The TV which was donated by the Charity Daniel's Promise which supports the Home, has been fully installed. Wild cheers filled the living room when the set was switched on for the first time. Many could not wait to touch the wide screen and the boys scrambled for seats near the huge set.

With a number of cartoon DVDs and movies which Denise came along with on her trip recently, the boys are kept busy all day. According to Denise Gwatkin's ,Daniel's Promise Charity founder, the charity is committing itself to paying Digital Satelite TV subscriptions for the bosy to watch their favourite programs.

Since many boys have been sneaking out of the home to go to watch premier league games at different locations for a price, the Charity is going an extra mile to cover this. Many thanks to all our sponsors who have committed to sponsoring the DSTV . Many thanks to Rosemary Bailey, Razena Shaw, Jane Hannon and the rest for this kind gesture.
